I decided to take a walk in the "lovely" weather we've been having lately. So im walking through the local shopping area (86th street for all the Brooklyn heads) as I come walking out of one of the stores im practically tackled by Army Recruiters.

Almost instantly I have pamphlets, key chains, and towels thrust at me. I was still in kind of a daze because there were three of them, boxing me in. I had nowhere to go, the lowest ranking of the crew started in with his routine. Out of respect I let him get a few minutes of going. Then I interupted...

"Hey Sergeant, while you just sold me (you see im leading him on there). Frankly, im already in the Army, and furthermore, I just got home from a tour of Iraq. Irish kids like me arent this tan."

They took back their keychains and pamphlets, but the towel was a lost cause. Ah sweet sweet brow sweat.
